David E. Thomas
is a trained Educator/Counselor/Therapist and has worked primarily
in the fields of educational and career counseling as well as
behavioral, emotional and marriage and family therapy. Studying and
working at institutions such as Philadelphia Biblical University,
Lincoln University of Pennsylvania and Temple University as well as
consulting for agencies such as Devereux Behavioral Health and
Intercultural Family Services and his own consulting practice, In
His Image (IHI) Management and Consulting, he has serviced
college-aged young adults, juvenile and adult offenders,
behaviorally at-risk middle school and high school youth, victims of
domestic violence, adult learners, individuals seeking vocational
rehabilitation and welfare-to-work populations. He has been active
in youth and discipleship ministries throughout the greater
Philadelphia area for over 12 years.
Having
the bulk of his training and work experience in education,
counseling and organizational development, David has a heart for
ministering to youth and a desire to see churches, social service
agencies and non-profits structured and functioning in the manner
set forth by the words and deeds of Christ in scripture. He is a
dedicated and relevant visionary designed and commissioned to impart
biblical wisdom and power through the Holy Spirit to those in need
of God's unconditional love and healing.
