Mission Execution

The Urban Passage works with adjudicated youth to lessen the impact of their incarceration and provide them with the life skills that are critical for success upon their release.

For Our Youth,

We inspire them with a biblical foundation; Stabilize them with a youth development and academic curriculum and; Re-introduce them to the community through our community mentoring program.

We believe that to reach the core of young people we are called to do the following:

    1. Understand their plight in life by investing our time and services
    2. Take an active approach to uncover their essence as beautiful and worthy people who matter.
    3. Present the truth in love and with grace.
    4. Provide a safe environment for interpersonal growth.
    5. Teach the appropriate boundaries and goal setting tools required for successful communication and relating skills.
    6. Combine these actions to create a template for a successful life strategy.
    7. Present faith-based principles that can transform them and help them live life today.

Our mission is to come alongside young people individually and collectively with a rich variety of programming that

    1. Is Consistent and Long Term & Demonstrates our Commitment
    2. Builds Relationship & Provides Structure and A Sense of Security
    3. Opens an Avenue for understanding and expression
    4. Sets a Standard & Is not tolerant
    5. Builds Character and Self-Esteem
    6. Demands Accountability
